Dear Friends,
We’d like to let you know about some changes at Good Food Strategies. It has been an exciting and successful seven years since we started the business in 2004. We have learned a lot from each other, and from the many committed, smart people we’ve had the good fortune and privilege to work with over the years. Looking ahead, we have decided it’s time for change. Good Food Strategies is closing for business so that each of us can pursue projects independently and explore ideas that may take us in new directions.
In 2004, when we co-founded Good Food Strategies, we believed our country was at a critical moment in time to advocate for a more sustainable food system. It’s clear we were right. Our business grew every year as a grassroots movement took shape, enabling us to expand our network of expert collaborators to include folks who are at the top of their fields in media, opinion research, marketing and policy advocacy.
We’ve enjoyed the work we’ve done together on behalf of a broad spectrum of some of the very best farms and food businesses, nonprofits, thought leaders and foundations working to advance good food policies, products and consumer awareness. We will continue to stay in close communication and collaboration and hope to be able to continue working with you in the future.
Feel free to contact either of us with questions or project ideas.
Heartfelt thanks to all of you for the great work you do, and for all we have learned from you over the years.
Sincerely,
Jen Lamson, 206-369-3122, jenlamson@gmail.com
